I didn’t have a good torching day yesterday. I had problems with my oxygen concentrator. It’s breaking. I started off making a cactus and I picked up the wrong color and didn’t realize it until it was almost finished. I dunked it in water and started over. All went well and it’s ready to go in the kiln. I open the door, my kiln is cold. I forgot to turn it on. Dud. So, I start for the third time and finally got one made. Also, made a little space guy.
Continuing in the bread bead saga, I decided to try another bread slice.
I used light ivory on the inside and opal yellow for the crust, then fumed the edges with silver. The only problem is it’s too big. It will over shadow the other beads that need to go with it. Back to the drawing board…..
