I’m really liking making these. It’s an easy way to use up all those short rods of glass and any kind of frit.
They are so pretty laid out flat, though I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to use them yet.

Flat Disk Beads
I’ve been trying to get a more organic look to my beads. Here’s another attempt at it. I still can’t get “that” look that other people get without having my beads look hideous. These are randomly shaped with a bunch of different frits and colors. Two different views:
They range in size to about an 1/2 inch to one inch across.
Another Weekend Of Pins
But these are different. Well, different from the ones in the last post. These are a little more abstract.
I kind of like these. They aren’t too big and hang nicely when worn.
This next one is yet another pin but a bit different too. It doesn’t have any beads on it. Just all copper.
This one was tough. I used 14 gauge wire for the heart part and it was tough to bend. I think it might have had something to do with my wire already being work hardened too. Next time I’ll do it and anneal the wire first. That will make it easier to bend.

More Copper and Glass Fibula Pins
As you all know, I don’t just make one thing. So, here are more pins. I am working on other designs but these are fast and quick to make. The others take more time.
Copper and Bead Fibula Pins
I always end up with extra beads from the jewelry I make. They are good beads but they usually end up in a bowl and never get touched again. I decided to use some of them up in these fibula pins.
These are all made out of copper wire.
Pink Copper Bracelet
Yep, another bracelet. I’ll probably be making a few more. I made a bunch of different bead sets for them and am just getting around to assembling them.

I’m back to making push pins so this is the only thing I finished this weekend. Another angel….
Enamel and Copper Tube Bracelet
I’m having a lot of fun playing with torch firing enamels onto copper. The enameled tube ends have been flared out using my rivet press. The other beads are tubing that I wrapped wire around. The ends are balled up copper and sterling silver. I was able to fuse the sterling silver onto the copper. It’s strung on thick brown leather with copper end caps.
Enamel Bead and Copper Bracelet
I quickly threw this bracelet together to see what it would look like. I should have used a thicker piece of copper and made it a bit longer. It didn’t have much texture to it so I added the raised dots. The beads are enameled by torch firing them.
This bracelet was fun and I’ll probably make a few more.
