I only have a few button mandrels, that’s why I can only make a few each torching session. I normally don’t make that many two holed buttons so I’ve been able to live with just a few of these mandrels. Here’s a couple more.
Just Buttons
Since I’ve been making buttons for my mom’s necktie purses, I thought I’d make extra. Here’s a few more.
Necktie Purses
My mom made these purses out of neckties. They are lined and have a zippered pocket inside. They are a nice size too. Not tiny, like I thought they would be. Of course, I couldn’t resist making buttons for them. I think I should have make the buttons in opaque colors so they would show up more. Oh well….
Pink Pen
I was going through my stash and found a few bead pens that I never put beads on. So, I made this set of pink beads. I think it works with the silver pen.
New Necklace
I made this necklace for a present. I think it turned out kind of cute. I like rocks and used these pretty bead caps that I bought. The leaf is made out of metal clay.
Bread Necklace
Here’s the finished bread necklace. I think the bright ribbon adds some much needed pizazz to the piece. Hope the gal that requested it likes it.
More Eyeglass Holders
Here’s three more that I just finished. I’m not that fond of stringing beads but I got a few requests for eyeglass holders so I thought I would make some.
Another with a ring to slip the glasses into.
This one is similar to the previous one. Just used different color seed beads.
Hanging Toad
Well, of course, I couldn’t just leave the toads as beads. I had to make something out of them. So, I made one into a dangle with a clip. Can be used for a key chain, purse dangle, zipper pull or whatever.
Toads!!
Well, it’s only two toads. The green one turned out looking more like a toad. The other one is sage green and I can’t believe how shocky that glass is. I think I lost at least half the rod with glass shooting everywhere. Now that I’ve figured out how to do them again, I might make more.
