Enameled Pipes Pieces

I cut some pipe as thin as I could with a pipe cutter and enameled these pieces. I just hung them temporarily for this picture. Not sure what I’m going to do with them yet.

I played around with using different color base enamels then put on top some transparent enamels. If I overheat the enamel, it will bubble and bring up the bottom layer of enamel color. I think it gives the pieces more character.

Ginkgo Leaf Pins

I used some of the ginkgo leaf beads I made last week in these pins.

I kind of like them.

Another Batch Of Gingko Leaves

Still not sure what I’m going to do with these. They are kind of fun to make.

On the two bottom ones, I used this Loetz gold powder and it’s supposed to make it have a metallic look. I got some metallic but when they are held up to the light, it just looks dirty. Probably won’t be using it again for these leaves.

Gingko Leaves

In glass, of course. My friend made some gingko leaf pendants out of polymer clay and wire. I thought they were cute and decided to try them out of glass.

Still need some work. I’m going to have to study some real leaves closer.

Flat Disk Beads Completed

Yep, I’ve been finishing up a lot of stuff this weekend to prepare for my first craft show. These are pictures of all the flat organic disk beads.

All laid out flat. I like all the different colors in them and the irregular shape. This is probably the closest I will come to making “organic” style beads.

Here they are stacked. I finally figured out how to get the little silver specks on the beads.

More Hearts

I made another fibula heart pin. My friend wants to make some heart earrings and I remembered I made these smaller hearts before. I did a sample up so she could see it.

Push Pins All Ready For Craft Show

I got two cigar boxes of push pins done for the craft show. Hopefully they will sell well.

Both boxes ready to display.

Close up of one of the boxes.

Close up of second box.

Now I need to come up with more designs if I make more in the future.

Another Fiber Enamel and Copper Bracelet

I made another similar to one I made before. This one has bigger beads and sari ribbon as the fiber.

Kokeshi Doll Bead Necklace

I made these beads up earlier this year. I’m finally getting around to making them into necklace. These I used brass components.

More Flat Disk Beads

I’m really liking making these. It’s an easy way to use up all those short rods of glass and any kind of frit.

They are so pretty laid out flat, though I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to use them yet.

Here’s another picture of the stacked.
