Here’s the last two beads from the kitty bead exchange that I received.
The one on the left is from Paula P and the right one is from MeowMeowBeads

I got into a kitty bead exchange on Lampwork Etc. Here’s my first bead that I received:
Isn’t it cute? It’s from Sierra Catz Lampwork – Barbara Terrill
Also, these are the push pins I made last weekend. I tried another type of flower and more cat faces. Trying to come up with different faces, maybe the next one will be a pig or cow.
No, I didn’t make this. My dad made it about 40 years ago. My mom still uses it. I was thinking of making some since I had to order a bunch of used wine corks that I plan to put the push pins in. I’m not planning on making that many push pins so I thought about this trivet. Doesn’t look too difficult to make.
I still have a bunch more to make too. The longer pin vise is working out well. I tried a few kitty faces last night. Not sure which one I like better.
I think I’ve got the hang of making the bunny heads. They seemed to go faster when I made these.
I got a longer pin vise and it seems to be helping not burning my fingers. I wish the pin part was a little bigger so I could use it for thicker pins or mandrels. Still, I’m glad it is working out. I was able to get 10 push pins made last night. Yeah!!
I think the bunnies turned out cute. I’m going to try a cat face tonight. Wish me luck.
Not sure what is going on. I put a couple of bunnies in the kiln and out pops several of them. Here’s the latest batch.
I put two bunnies in my kiln and I found four little ones the next day. They multiplied!! (just kidding)
I thought I’d give making push pins a go. I found that I need to get another pin vise to hold the little pins. The one I have is aluminum and it heats up too much. I can only make three push pins before my fingers get too burnt. Found a steel pin vise online that I’m going to have to get. Here’s the first ones.
I’m still making key chains. Here’s the last ones I finished up.
I’m still trying to come up with ideas for beads for the Beads Of Courage charity. Here’s the latest.
Uh oh, I didn’t clean my beads very well. Should take new pictures but I’m too lazy. I guess I’m calling these generic birds because I don’t know what bird looks like these – if any.
Someone asked me if I could make a pie slice. This is my first shot at one. I blanked out when it came to the pie crust and decorations on the top. I’ve eaten enough pies to know. I’ll have to check out some real pies and inspect them closer. That would require tasting them too.
Dirty and blurry. How bad can it get? This is supposed to be a chick. I think we can all agree that this bead is a thumbs down. I like the generic birds better.
This is a pendant I made. It was fairly simple. The hardest part was making the coils to go around the bead. The coils are really small and I didn’t have anything thin and rigid to wind the coils onto. I had to use something a little bigger and I think this would look better with smaller coils. Have to get me some piano wire…..
Okay, not all new stuff. I finished these up sometime last week and never got around to posting them. So, more kitty and bunny key chains.
