Cherry Necklace

This was a really quick project. It probably took me less than 15 minutes to assemble. Probably took me longer looking for all the supplies to make it, I’m so unorganized.

Have a “cherry” day!!

Two More Kokeshi Doll Necklaces

These necklaces seem pretty popular so I made a couple more.

Shibori Cuff Bracelet

I took a class this weekend and made this bracelet. The class was taught by Carl Stanley. Here’s two different views:

It’s made out of fine silver and sterling silver. The metal is actually crushed so everyone’s turned out differently. I really scrunched mine as I didn’t want it to be too wide. I darkened the silver but I’m not sure if I like it. It looks more bulky as the pleats show up more. I’m going to leave it and wear it and see if it grows on me. If not, I’ll take the blackening off and make it a matte finish.

Bread Necklace

Here’s the finished bread necklace. I think the bright ribbon adds some much needed pizazz to the piece. Hope the gal that requested it likes it.

A Plainer Kokeshi Doll Pendant

I bought these glue in bails and end caps and decided to give them a try. While I like the pearls and dangles on other ones, this one is really simple. It’s a lot easier to put together too.

Bead Stick Pendant

This is one of the same cored and capped beads that I showed in a previous post. I made it up into a bead stick pendant.

It’s mostly copper with copper ball chain and sterling silver bead caps. I might have to make a few more of these.

Stamping Bead Caps

The designs on the sterling silver bead caps are made with metal stamps. It’s hard to tell the design because I stamped over some of the designs I previously stamped. I used liver of sulfur to darken it a bit so the design shows up better. The back bead has hammer textured copper bead caps.

Copper Viking Knit Brangle

Well, here’s another viking knit brangle made out of copper this time. These are fairly quick to make – after I get the beads made. I’m not sure if I’m going to blacken this one. It kind of looks good without darkening the copper.
