I wrote up the instructions on how I use colored pencils on metal so I thought I’d do some instructions on how to set the piece.
How it looks from the front.
Here it is from the side.
I got together with a bunch of friends for a play day. One gal is learning how to dye and felt scarves so she showed us how to make a felted scarf. It’s an interesting process. We all worked on it so it didn’t take nearly as long as when making one alone. I was the lucky one and got to keep it. Here’s a really crappy picture of it. I couldn’t get a better picture of the way the fibers are now felted together.
It’s really a lot more light and airy than it looks in the picture. I love the colors!!
I finished knitting and crocheting this shrug. It was really easy except I kept running out of yarn. I had to order more yarn three times. I’m going to wear this at work when I go into freezing rooms. The shrug is fairly heavy so it should keep me nice and toasty.
These pictures aren’t the best as I couldn’t take them in an area where the background was the same.
This was made out of four different yarns. There are stripes of handpainted yarn and wool yarn run with eyelash yarn. The bottom has some rows of sari ribbon.
