I’ve been wanting a new ring for a while. Just got around to making one for myself. It didn’t turn out like I wanted it to but I like the texture I got from fusing silver filings and sandings onto silver sheet. Still needs some experimentation.
Could have cleaned up the inside a bit more but got lazy. No one can see it when I’m wearing it. 🙂
My sister was over during Thanksgiving so I had all the supplies to make Sami bracelets. I got a sample one done and made the braid for my sister’s bracelet. She was having a hard time sewing hers so I have to finish it up later, along with another one for me. Here’s the same one I did. I realized I need to sew the braid down well and not let any of the clear thread stick out. It’s not like regular thread so it pokes when it sticks out.
Then we made these geometric paper forms and filled them with cement. I made mine into vases.
Tried putting some faux gold leaf on one of them. Don’t have the right kind of glue so it didn’t work out that well. Need to get some of that really sticky glue…..
I took a class this past weekend and made this hinged panel bracelet with a threaded clasp.
Not perfect as there’s never enough time in class to get things just right. Still, I’m happy the hinge and threaded clasp works.
I got a few more things made for the upcoming craft show.

Just finished up ten necklaces today. Yay!!
Etched copper, then punched out and riveted together. There’s crimp beads between the front and back for a space for the snake chain to go through. I added the end caps and clasp to the snake chain. Made the little glass dangles too. Pieces were patina’ed and tumbled to work-harden the metal.
