I decided to try some trees using different colors to pizzazz them up a bit. Here’s a few that I just finished up.
The one on the left that looks crooked really isn’t. I used some red and goldstone, along with different colors of green and silver glass frit. These are “happy” trees.
I got three more trees done. These look almost the same as the last ones but all are a bit different.
I’ve got another set of them to come. That is if they work out. I’m trying some different colors which might not look that great when I start assembling them.
I decided to try something different with the dangle ornaments and make a bunch of different sized discs to make up a tree form. Here’s my first attempts.
I decided to make some shorter ornaments that can actually be used on trees. These are about 3 inches long.
The bigger beads are hollow to make the ornaments lighter.
I just got these made up with sterling silver findings and pearl and crystal accents.
I’ve been working on key chains and other dangles. It’s been slow going since I’ve been putting together about one per day. They aren’t hard to assemble but I’ve made so many, it’s kind of routine.
I forgot to post the last of the Beads Of Courage beads. These have been sent off to the charity.
I made 15 more beads last night. Here’s the goods……
This brings the total to 44 beads this weekend. I think I can get 6 more done and make it to 50 before having to send them off.
