Happy Holidays!!

Okay so this isn’t a very good Christmas picture but it’s the only thing I finished today.

I also took this with a brand new camera. I was really testing it when I took this picture. The camera is one of those cheap point and shoot ones and I didn’t have any hopes that it would take a good close up but it did alright.

Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas!!

Buttons

My cousin’s quilt club wants some buttons to sell at their quilt show. These are a few samples I’m going to give her to show the coordinator. Hopefully they will want to buy some.

They will get to see them in person which is better than this picture taken with my broken camera. Can you tell I’m miffed because I broke my camera?

Teapot Earrings

I got a request to make some green teapot earrings. When I was getting ready to take the pictures, I dropped my camera on the floor and it broke the display. I was able to still take pictures but I can’t see what I’m taking. Not that I take good pictures anyway but it doesn’t help not having a display.

Off to go look for another cheap camera…..

Turtles!!

A whole army of ninja turtles!! A gal that stopped by my booth at the craft show saw my push pins and asked if I could make a few turtles in different colors and to make them into lapel pins. She wanted 8 to be exact. I asked her what colors she wanted and was all set to make them. Got them almost all done when I got a voicemail from her, now she wants 30 of them in different colors and I have until next August to get them done. What could I say? Course, I don’t want to drag an order out several weeks so I got them all done, ready for delivery. There are more than 30, just wanted her to have more to pick out of. I’m sure I can use the rest as the turtle push pins seemed to be the most popular.

I have the backs in another package. I didn’t know how to display them so she could see them all at once with the backs on them.

Copper and Beads Bracelets

These are for an order from the craft show. I never know what size to make bracelets as everyone’s wrist is a different size. I usually make things that fit my wrist and that doesn’t cover “one size fits all”. So, I made these in a different size. I’ll bring my pliers just in case I have to make adjustments when I deliver them to the buyer.

The last one I made because I had the beads and components already out. I’ll show the buyer so she has a couple different designs to choose from.

Mom’s Holiday Decorations

These are a few quilted wall hanging that my mom made.

I’m not a very good picture taker so you have to look really close at the Christmas tree to see the glass snowflakes and the little glass lights that I made for this wall hanging.

Enameled Bangle Bracelet Sets

I sold all the enameled bangle bracelet sets I made at the craft show. Yeah!! But that meant I had to make more for gifts. These are two I finished yesterday.

I really like making these. It’s a surprise how the colors are going to come out. I use a couple of opaque colors and three or four transparent colors and I never know what I get when I layer them. When I have more time, I want to make some wider ones that will be riveted together.

Where Have I Been???

It seems like forever since I posted anything. I got done with my last craft show but still have some custom orders to finish up. These are a few things I made to sell at the craft show, just getting a chance to put them up now.

More bottle cap key chains. These are really fun.

Since I sold all the kokeshi doll pendants at my first craft show, I had to make more. These are the ones I used brass chains and findings.

Here’s the plain sterling silver ones. I think I like them with dangles better.

Key Chains And Zipper Pulls

I’m trying to get the last stuff made for the craft show this weekend. I needed to make some cheaper items so I did some zipper pulls and key chains.

Decided to use some of the bottle cap beads for key chains. I’m planning on making a few more of these.

Couple of skulls on a round bead. Not sure how popular these will be with my customers.

Rice ball zipper pulls. The last one is the backside of them. They are all the same except for the face. I can never get the mouth on evenly.

More zipper pulls. Mochi trees seem to be popular. Not sure why.

Bangle Bracelet Sets

I finished up some more enameled and copper wire bracelets. I’m going to sell them as sets. I think they look good together.
