Some more sparkle big hole beads……
And one kitty bead. This kitty turned out kind of fat. Kind of reminds me of my cat, Igor. His fur is so fluffy around his face it looks like he has no neck.
And a hollow bead that I cored and strung it on leather.

I’ve been making some clear beads to try out this technique where the beads are colored after they are made. While making clear beads is kind of boring, I’m really liking them after they are colored and cored.
They sparkle and are really vibrant in person. Except for the green one. When using transparent colored glass the color has to be really pale in order for the color to show. It does sparkle but it’s more subtle than the rest of the beads.
Okay, it’s three pairs. That’s all I got done today.
I used some glass beads that I made for these. It’s tough making two beads the same. Tried my best.
I’m kind of liking making earrings. Even though I have to make two the same, it’s not that bad. Would be easier if I drew out the designs prior to making the first one but when I start out, I’m not sure what I’m making until the first earring is done.
Hammered with a simple curl and a pink quartz bead.
These heart earrings will hang slanted.
Some kind of quartz square beads and some green stone beads that I had laying around.
Another set of hoops with etched glass beads and some brass and nickel spacers.
I decided to take a picture of each pair of earring right after I make them. Trying to hang them and take a picture didn’t work. I think these are better.
I don’t usually make earrings. There’s something about making the exact same thing twice that I just don’t like. I don’t mind similar but most people want earrings to match. I’ve done my best here even though these are the crappiest pictures I’ve taken in a while.
I had to retake this picture, it was so bad. I love Biwa pearls. Hopefully other people do too.
I bought these mother of pearl buttons a while ago. Never knew what to do with them. A few jump rings and a little round gemstone bead works well with the buttons, don’t you think?
These are hard to see. They are drilled river rocks. I tried to match them up as well as I could. And by this time, I got tired of making the same earring so I did the wires all different on these.
More round pearl – it’s hard to tell those are pearls and another set that I made round earrings and threaded some beads onto it. Easy peasy.
Also, some clip charms that never got posted.
This is my first ever cloisonne piece I made. I showed it in a previous post without it’s setting. I finally had time to get the sterling silver part soldered together.
The enamel piece isn’t perfect and I now know how important it is to make sure the sides are smooth and the whole piece is the same level. Where the wires are I needed to smooth that area out more so the bezel would not have a bump there. I also need to make sure my enamels aren’t contaminated. Lessons learned. The bottom stone is a titanium drusy.
I’m sure getting tired of making square chip beads. I think my idea of making them in all colors isn’t going to happen. These are the ones I finished up so far this weekend.
And some new sterling silver charms that I’ve been working on for weeks. Finally got around to finishing them up.
I made up a few gifts for someone that helped me out this week. Nothing big, just some little surprises.
Also got another set of red/opal yellow beads done and some veiled cane orange beads.
I finally got around to adding the silver tubing to the hole in these beads. It’s not like it takes a long time to do, just that it’s kind of boring. They do look nice all shiny after being tumbled.
More beads. And some new glass cabochon charms that I finished up over the weekend.
Another set of leaf head pin in purple.
Hey, how did that bunny get into the litter?
Couple more chickens….
Glass cabochon charms. They have a loop on the other end so they dangle.
